A coalition of over 100 organizations in the Philadelphia region has submitted an $80 million proposal to the government, detailing its strategy for boosting the local life sciences industry. This initiative follows the U.S. Department of Commerce’s designation of Philadelphia as one of 31 federal innovation and technology hubs, with access to up to $500 million in funding. Led by Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania, the Greater Philadelphia Region Precision Medicine Tech Hub comprises organizations and community partners from Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey.
