Century Therapeutics Inc. has expanded the amount of space it will occupy at One uCity Square to 90,000 square feet.

The fast-growing company initially signed in 2020 to take a single floor totaling 32,500 square feet in the building in the University City neighborhood of Philadelphia. Century will now occupy space across the top three floors of the 13-story building that is under construction.

Established in 2018, Century (NASDAQ: IPSC) now has a total of 130,000 square feet between lab space in the University City Science Center at 3675 Market St. and the space it will occupy at One uCity. The company is trying to capture the power of stem cells to develop curative cell therapy products for cancer that overcome the limitations of first-generation cell therapies. Earlier this year, it entered into a product development and licensing agreement with Bristol Myers Squibb (NYSE: BMY).
